Participant
Has anyone priced out the cost of a solar pool heating system?
I think they typically run about $5k.
would really consider an automatic pool cover instead. it is pricier, we got ours for $8k. Well hidden since we built it at the time of the pool construction. They do have ones they can install onto existing pools but do not look as clean.
It traps heat well and cut way down on evaporation. our pool has been at 81-83 over the last few days with just the pool cover.
with a pool cover, a pool vacuum, and a salt system, we don’t have any maintenance worries at all.

give it up. you showed your ignorance. don’t even bother.
it is just like the whole 4S is part of city of SD thing. after you couldn’t talk your way out of that one, you pulled out the Thomas guide and then started going into how there’s got to have been some conspiracy to keep 4S out of the city.
just like I don’t ever claim to be an expert on Chula Vista, don’t try to play the expert on the 56 corridor when you probably never even driven on the 56.

ocrenter, as to your previous post, I mentioned three communities on either end of the 56, CV, PQ and RB. The rest of the communities are not situated on the 56. I continue to maintain that workers in Northern SD and North County job centers have MANY communities to choose from to be close to work and not have to use the 56.
FWIW, I checked out powayseller’s blog after sdr identified her for me many months ago. She seems to be quite intelligent as well as very eloquent. I don’t know what all went on here with here with her but could it be that her intelligence may have intimidated a few Piggs? Could it be that there may have been misogynism going on here? It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was the case.

you named two communities that straddle the 56, Carmel Valley and PQ as alternatives to the “56 corridor. how can I possibly take anything you say seriously?
and you just have the same personality as PS, I’ll agree with sdr, you do not have the knowledge to match.

You said it may times and said to DEMAND 2000 nominal pricing. While I wont claim 100% accuracy I was far more correct than you as to how this has all played out and I dont beleive anyone can argue that point. With that said, you are a winner.
of course you have to demand it before you can go after it as a goal. and it certainly is a doable goal as long as someone is not stuck on the 5 mile coastal strip. unless of course your realtor is sdr, right? =)
