ParticipantFYI a little OT but I put an electronic lock with button keypad on my front door about 2 years ago. I will never go back to keys.
With the electronic one I can set multiple access codes and even log who entered and when. This cost me about $100 and the installation (which I did myself). With this system who needs a lockbox?

ParticipantThe 1st one looks older but has a nice interior and is in a relatively quiet, residential neighborhood. I live about 1000ft away from there so watch out! The “old” look of this house (mainly due to the military-brown roof) is prevalent in this neighborhood. Looks to have a great dry landscape.
The 2nd looks newer (yet isn’t) but is in a high-traffic area. It is closer to shopping, this is a plus.
FYI many of my neighbors are in distress, several are in foreclosure, several are heading that way, several are considering walking. Asking prices are stil too high yet unemployment is rising, new taxes are coming, and more people are moving out than in but yippee! Interest rates are low!

Participant
Put AMCC on the list. Looks like about 2 weeks from now the group I am in will get whacked along with alot of others.
I’m very sorry to hear that. I had guessed you were at AMCC based on some things you said a while ago. In fact I think it was a post where you said you were looking to hire.If it makes you feel better this is the 3rd recession since I’ve been working in this field and it always comes roaring back (so far). Can’t imagine a world without communications, robotics, internet, and all the things engineers bring.
