ParticipantIt is not true that RP wants to restore the constitution. Where does this belief come from? He wants to ammend it in all kinds of ways, as you can see from his congressional record.
It’s still too early for me to decide, but if I were to vote today I would lean towards Giuliani because he:
* Is pro-choice
* Favors school vouchers, so you can send your kids to your chosen school (I don’t have kids but if I did I wouldn’t want politicians to decide where I school them).
* Says we should do nothing about gay marriage. Seriously, why the f*** are we even debating this stupid issue? Another piece of fodder to distract the public from real issues. Other candidates (including RP) favor a constitutional amendment to ban it. Why waste taxpayer dollars? It’s like why not amend to ban, say, sex with crickets or riding horses naked after midnight? It’s nonsensical..
* Is not sure if global warming is caused by humans but agrees that to be safe, we should look into energy alternatives including the expansion of nuclear energy. This should have been done LONG ago.
* Says states should decide their own gun laws.
* Wants a $7500 tax deduction so we can get our own health care.
* Wants to expand/increase HSA (health savings account) coverage.
* Wants a border fence with high-tech monitoring and tamper-proof immigrant ID cards.
* Wants to cut corporate tax to 25%
* WANTS TO ELIMINATE ESTATE TAX
* Wants to cut spending on civilian agencies (I.e. contractors) to 5% of the budget
* Wants to cut federal employees by 50% (i.e. 50% less bureaucracy)

ParticipantGodwin’s law, love it.
I won’t be voting for Ron Paul. IMO he’s hypocrite and a right-wing, xenophobic nut job. His website is simplistic and misleading, you’ve got to dig a little deeper to see what he really is saying. I’m happy with my finances and won’t vote with my wallet in mind and won’t be scared into thinking that other candidates are going to steal my money, take away my rights, or intrude on my life any more than I am ready to accept in my responsibility as a U.S. citizen. Using fear to sway a vote is a step backwards, they do this in Africa with armed juntas at the voting booths.
I won’t give you my spin, just read his congressional record and judge for yourself. Here’s a good summary I found:

ParticipantHaha right on. With that glowing recommendation I will try it! I usually only eat nigiri and sashimi so trying maki (rolls) elsewhere shouldn’t be a violation. How’s the sake?
You’ve gotta check out this video which satirizes many misconceptions about sushi. The “info” is just totally wrong…
