ParticipantYes the treastax site is very useful. People are often surprised at how much info I can find about them. I tell them the names on their title, how much they paid and when they bought, the assessed property value, whether their tax installments are up to date, and then I laugh maniacally like Dr. Evil (with the back-of-my-pinky-finger-to-mouth hand gesture). That’s usually when they slam the door. π
What I really want to find out is who the lender is.

The listing agent called (from out of town) to say they already have “several offers around the asking price”. I guess that’s why it’s been on the market 4 months? It might be short-sale delayed by the bank but if they come back to me later I’m going to offer $20k less. Unless it’s hold’em or vball I won’t play games.

The listing agent called (from out of town) to say they already have “several offers around the asking price”. I guess that’s why it’s been on the market 4 months? It might be short-sale delayed by the bank but if they come back to me later I’m going to offer $20k less. Unless it’s hold’em or vball I won’t play games.
