You’re right. The only reason I backed out of it (I made 2% off it) was because some posters here were going on about how great the iPhone is and how they queued up for it etc. so I chickened out.
I strongly discourage you from listening to my investment advice but I’m willing to bet that Royal Caribbean (ticker RCL) goes low tomorrow so I’m shorting. After-hours today they posted lower profit due to the cost of oil and I’m thinking along the lines that Americans are opting for stay-at-home vacations. I think RCL will drag the sector down so I’m also shorting CCL. (Carnival Cruise Lines).
I’m short on Allstate (ALL) and wamu (WM). Allstate has to cover a lot of losses because of Katrina and the fires. Wamu is reporting earnings tomorrow, we could see some action!
Today these stocks are at:
RCL $22.70
ALL $44.33
CCL $35.42
