ParticipantSad. While Veteran Astronaut claims alien visits makes a great news headline, the most likely truth– 77-year-old suffers from dementia, is victimized by con artists— is somewhat more “human”.
The closest solar system to our own is over 100 light-years away. Do people think an alien species evolved, developed the technology capable of crossing that gap, and traveled 100 light years to visit a bunch of superstitious, destructive monkeys? The aliens came to give us technology?
This should clear things up!

ParticipantYeah we need to come up with a list of desirable traits then we can create our very own piggy version of the “Top 10 U.S. Cities”.
Some things I like (not in order):
proximity to ocean
mild climate
cost of living
availability of jobs
population density
quality of life
traffic congestion
health care“public transportation” should be on the list but IMO there are few US cities which can compete so I’m assuming everyone drives. Thus “traffic congestion” is there instead.

Participantibjames is right. I thought flu’s original post implied that qc workers are going to be buying homes because their stock went up. No?
