The original owner moved out about 5 to 6 months ago and then a couple moved in few months. I thought they bought the property (via short sell), but I was suspicious that wasn’t the case. It could be that the bank is renting it out then. Thanks BG.
PS. Yup the original owners are “business” owners. At least that what they said.
nlaParticipantTo all you realtor-type or have access to MLS. Can you update me what’s going on with this property? Thanks!
nlaParticipantFunny, outside the house, I feel NAKED without a watch. There are numerous times that I have to go back to the house few blocks away because I forgot my watch. My day is off if I’m not wearing a watch. When I was in college, I have few SWATCH watches. They were cool back then. Now I have a TAG but lusting for a ROLEX or a BREITLING.
nlaParticipantBishops and La Jolla Country Day’s tuition is about 30K per child.
nlaParticipantLin-sanity’s parents are ethnic Chinese that immigrated from Taiwan. But ocrenter is right, that not all Taiwanese are Chinese. But most Taiwanese are ethnic Chinese, mostly from South China. The indigenous people in Taiwan are Austranesians which are closely related to the indigenous population in the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. Although in the Philippines (specially in the big cities), the modern Filipino is a mutt of Chinese/Spanish/Japanese/Indian/Malay among others.
nlaParticipantWhat’s considered high PSAT score for a freshman? My D took it last year as a freshman and she got 183. According to the report she scored higher than 85% of juniors. But compared to sophomores she scored higher than 93% of them. They don’t account for freshmen since only few freshmen takes PSAT. It would be interesting what’s her score this year as a sophomore.
nlaParticipantIllumina who was hiring like crazy few months ago is also getting rid of about 200 employees.

Certainly not kindergarteners! Children at age 5 are still too young to pull the race card…unless they are being raised in a white supremecist environment.
P.S. my grandkids will be half Asian
Don’t be too naive. My kid when she was in kindergarten was told by a white girl not to play with her because my daughter is not white.

My wife had a very enjoyable time at Cal Poly as a kinesiology major, and went on to Physician Assistance school (a 2 year program) at Loma Linda. She made crazy money out of starting and has found more job opportunities then any person should be allowed to have. It also is populated with women who demand a flexible schedule, so the 9-5 grind is definitely not a requirement. If I could do it over again, and could remember more than one thing at a time, I would have become a PA.
My niece is a PA. Her undergradute major is Biology. One drawback of PA is you have to re-certify/re-take the board every 2 years (I think, I forgot the exact frequency). It’s not that bad, but for lazy person like me, I don’t want to study for the board every 2 years or so.
