I think it’s more important to look at the persons role in the run up of the housing crises. Did Davis take money from freddie/fannie or banks? Did she vote for the deregulation? Things like that. I can’t just say vote the person out based on one vote. Do your research. She may have been working on fixes things already, and then we might lose someone on our side (as much as a congresswoman could be anyway) It’s people like Barney Franks that really need to go. I’m not defending Davis, and I have no idea what her record is.
On another note. Blaming either repubs or dems exclusively for this mess is very narrow minded. The problem is the corrupt atmosphere of the government as a whole. The parties act the same regardless. They just use BS excuses to gain peoples vote to stay in power and continue with their greed! DO YOUR RESEARCH! Don’t let one party or the other BS you into a vote.
