ParticipantA brother of mine has a blueberry farm, they also sell christmas trees…someone paid him with a $100, or so he thought, looked legit. The bank sent it back to him, though, turns out it was a $5.00 note bleached and then re-printed to be a $100. The Benjamin in the middle looked good until you held it up to the light, then you could see the Lincoln on the right side. They can’t bleach out the image on the right. Banks do check them.

ParticipantWhy must this be a Republican vs. Democrat or conservative vs. Liberal argumant? Why not personal freedom to do what I want? If I am paying for national health care, then I want to outlaw sugar, cigarettes, liquor, and fat; then I want to mandate 1 hour of physical activity per day 5 days a week. How would those of you who want free medical care or free insurance like that? This USED to be a free country. I am fine with paying for police, fire, National defense, and help for some in society that cannot do for themselves, but please, stay out of my life and my wallet! Let’s see some personal responsibility.

ParticipantYes, pretty much the same. I lived for a few years in the south Sabre Springs area near creekside school, we shopped in the Scripps Ranch area off Mercy pkwy. The only difference is the school district. Poway unified is the best, although Scripps Ranch has some of the best school scores of San Diego Unified, so it really is a wash. If you like big trees then SR is for you, although a lot of homes burned due to those pretty trees…
