ParticipantThe La Jolla Light or La Jolla Village Newspapers. They come out every Thursday and also have online sites.
Besides that I have found that the best way is to just drive around the specific area of La Jolla on Sundays

ParticipantPersonally that kind of noise drives me nuts but you are the one that might be living there. You pretty much always will have some sort of noise in a condo and being a end unit should help your cause.
If you are getting a great deal on the condo then might be smart to go forward because if noise bothers you too much in the future then you could sell and still break even or make a little.

ParticipantIts been brought up before, but it is pointless to complain about lender UW standards being to demanding.
Anyone loaning 80%-90% of an appraised value should be able to look closely under the hood. Personally I would UW the same for 50% ltv as I would for 90% ltv.
