    I’ve seen creative uses of Ikea cabinets in places like Dwell or Sunset magazine that don’t end up looking Ikea at all.

    I think it would be helpful if you guys have at least a sketch of what you want. Just a simple birds-eye plan that indicates x feet of cabinetry, x feet of counter top, x feet of flooring, etc etc.
    Then you could ask for the cost on the cheapest vs the most expensive so you can get some ball-park pricing going.
