First off, my wifes parents are from the Phillipines. My wife is first generation American. What I see is that immigrant culture and values soon fade away with time. Example: My wifes parents are the hardest working people I know and have taught their children about striving for excellence in education and life. All three of their children have completely become engulfed in the American way of life. I can only imagine as time goes on their children’s children will lose the way of life and teachings of the original parents that brought their family to this country. Being pushed as a child to live up to unrealistic goals can create resentment and a new idea of how they want to raise their children. I would like to see how the future Chinese children are brought up. Your thoughts.

Also, they don’t like lot of windows facing North, because of winter time, the cold air always come from North and make the house much colder inside, especially the insulation of house here is not good.
American likes lot of sunlight coming to the house so most of the house here are built facing east/west.
If you notice, the sun positions differently during summer and winter. To keep a house cool in summer and warm in winter, the best position is lot of windows facing south and back is toward north.[/quote]
Holy stereotype batman. This is the funniest crap I have ever heard. How does this person know what someone prefers based off of if they are American or Asian? Did this guy mean white or American? Last time I checked, there are lots of Asian people who are American. 90% of the latest phase releases of all current builders in 4S are bought by Asians, mostly Chinese, and their houses are facing all kinds of directions. This post makes no sense to me.

lifeisgoodParticipantI live in 4s and i have never seen this many people at an open house before. It is a mad house. I don’t know how many people are just looking or seriously considering buying. Monteluz’ first phase is sold out. Res 1 2556-2770 sq ft 672900, Res 2 3508-3690 sq ft 715900-721900, Res 3 3780-3949 aq ft 732900-741900. I think they are priced well. Andalusia has four plans that range from 625900-686900 and from 2222-3303 sq ft. also priced well. I think these will sell out quick like Maybeck did.
