    The traffic flow is in your favor if you travel west or south to work in the morning. Also depends on how long you want your commute and if public schools are ok. I just bought in La Jolla and my commute to La Mesa is about 25 minutes (no traffic). Good public schools. Also look at:

    Tierrasanta
    Carmel valley
    Scripps ranch

    other areas are nice but middle and high schools are a bit sketchy in most San Diego Unified schoold district areas…

    Safety…You should have one as a simple matter of safety…Stranded on the freeway?? coordinate airport pickup of unwanted relatives…child care?? track your teenage daughter on saturday night with the GPS….

    I agree that I would not really want one but you have to be practical..

    who is your broker??? BofA and Aimloan both show a 30 yr fixed jumbo with 1 point at around 5.5 or 5.625 .. How can yours be lower than that???? is it an adjustable???
