When I lived in DC, there was a sears outlet center in northern VA. They sold tvs there as well as your standard household appliances. I replaced my fridge with a brand new GE for about 300 bucks. The better score was walking in on a 60% off TV sale. I scored a 2000 dollar sony DLP for 600 bucks.
