ParticipantFlorida may be cheap but the negatives are:
Humidity
Bugs
HurricanesThose three are enough to keep me away. Good place to lock in a vacation home to call my primary residence for sure down the road.

Participant
I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. On the nightly news, stories of murders on the streets of West and North Philly were practically a daily occurence. Baja sounds alot safer than the Philly I remember.
So did i and concur on this. I also lived in the DC suburbs from 04-06 and the news was constantly murder related.
The difference is that those two cities are US controlled and regulated, mexico is not. English speaking country where you can dial 911, spanish speaking where if you are chased on foot or car, you cant dial for help and you may not be able to outrun someone.
