Participant“…you are praying values continue to drop)…”
Praying??? No, no, I’m observing them drop in real time. Including 4S.
I might well consider 4S in the future when I buy for much less than it is now (and it will be). As far as jealous and bitter goes, that is truly insulting. You see, we have had to endure trolls for two years now and that leads to a heightened sense of skepitiscm with posts such as yours.
Here’s a tip, if you want to make a point here, then don’t use the JBR label….you might get more people to take you seriously.

ParticipantSo what does this have to do with anything ordinarily discussed here? 4S is not fireproof…sorry, we dodged a bullet on Tuesday. If the winds had continued like they were on Sunday and Monday, 4S would have been lit like a Christmas tree… as well as lot of other areas.
face it people, we got lucky with the weather…this could have been a lot worse.

Participant“Don’t know what FB means.”
F**ked Borrower….sorry for crassness of it, but it is what it is.
Like others here have said, you should consider short sale or bankruptcy depending on the total circumstances (RE debt plus Commercial Debt.)

Participant“I think Rancho Bernardo and most of Poway will still be considered desireable, just like Scripps Ranch remained so after the Cedar fire.”
Possibly, but from a personal perspective, the fire issue will get a higher weighting in my future decision process than it might have a week ago…and I really liked the RB area too….

Participant“I never said they came out of the for sale inventory. I said they are out of the market as in they no longer exist.”
No longer exist =’s Out of Market…hmm, that’s a new to me. Try being more precise in your language then.

Participant“And yes, I have already tried with my lender and they offered the forbearance but my payments are already so high that we would never be able to catch up.”
You do realize where and who you are asking help from right? If you knew that you couldn’t afford the reset payments, then why did you buy with an exotic loan? I am very curious about the mindset at the moment of loan signature.
You have to understand that you are what we here call an FB. This is precisely what we have been warning about for 2 plus years now. 2 years ago, you probably would have called us bitter renters or some such non-sense.
