ParticipantI had Lasik more than 10 years ago. For me, it was a good choice. My eyesight was truly horrible – about -7 in both eyes. I literally couldn’t see anything more than about 2 feet away. I wore contacts for years and my eyes were always red and itchy. Glasses gave me headaches. Lasik has been great. No problems. Still 20/20 after all these years without any touchups.

Wouldnt worry about hot afternoons too much on that one.[/quote]I used to live on a bluff in Del Mar about 100 yards from the ocean with an entirely west facing yard, with plenty of windows to take advantage of the view. Trust me, it can get VERY hot in the afternoons – both inside and out.
And fwiw, I think your “friendly jabbering” kind of makes you look like a jerk.
