ParticipantIf we are going to talk about questionable listings, this one caught my eye 3991 Carson. At peak sold for 642k. Listed and contingent/pending the same day for 200k. Quiet canyon home on cul-de-sac. Home needs some work. PPSF: $202. Can’t think of very many homes in that area going for that ppsf. The average/median is about $290.

ParticipantBG – I know your heart is in the right place and I appreciate it as we can be unrealtistic. Tough for me to actually not buy in PB, but I’m close enough now if I really want, I can have a nice walk to the bay. My DH is not going to drive 20 minutes. We have been there and know that eventually we just stop going. Now it is convenient at the last minute to say, “Let’s go,” and it not be a major project. He likes that. Though w/all our projects, we’ve had limited time to actually go to the bay. 🙁

ParticipantThen I misunderstood that. I thought that the large payout was by the bank to the 2nd.
3228 Carleton seems it was originally listed in 2009 to be a spec home, I think.
