I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t read some of the posts on here. Keeps me from panicking. Sometimes it’s exhausting. First I had to deal w/the pressure from everyone I knew to buy, for years. Now that the market is slowing, I have a greater urge to buy, and yet sales continue and prices barely budge.
Then I read this board and it calms me and helps me to be patient and read between the lines of the BS going on out there. THANK YOU ALL!!

I know now that California is a non-recourse state, but what about the other states they bought in? Aren’t they going to be on the hook for those houses?

Why would these realtors not list this in the MLS, but on craigslist and put a sign out in front. Do they want to sell it or keep it a secret?

DWCAP – These people brought the trouble onto themselves. Hard to feel sorry for people who invite that kind of trouble in their lives. Do you feel sorry for people who go to Vegas and gamble and lose their money?

It is going to affect our entire economy and that is scary, but more scary is that people are still buying places for high prices along the coast b/c they think it won’t be affected.
