is much more powerful as an electoral issue than
“Birth Certificate”
Casca, you seem logical; can you suggest how he might have gotten a U.S. Passport from State department? How did Illinois Secretary of State put him on ballot for IL & U.S. Senate? Do you believe he was born in U.S. or abroad?
Here is a link that explains what is needed for a passport.
http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/first/first_830.html
Let’s assume that he produced an orginal birth certificate as outlined in the link provided in order to obtain his passport. Then why will he not produce it now?? It would be great PR if he did and he could come across as being victimized and even claim racism, slander etc. .
My guess is that he was born abroad, more likely in Kenya since his father according to Casca had his birth recorded there.

Participant
I think banning anyone for expressing his opinions is a bad idea.
I also think that jficquette, as someone else said, represents a huge portion of the population. He doesn’t see how partisan he is. He thinks he has information to back up what he says (until you call him on it; then he ignores you or says, “I don’t care what you think”). He can’t see his own hypocrisy, despite the fact that it’s pretty outrageous. There are millions just like him. And lots of them vote. So they’re important. And it’s important to try to understand them (if you want to understand this country).
I agree with New Renter about a new “active forum topics” set up. Maybe have an “Active forum topics” section which includes the four real estate-related topic areas and an “Active OT forum topics” right below it which includes all the off topic discussions.
Zk, here is a hint about the topic forum. If it doesn’t have something to do with housing in the topic then it probably is off topic.
