ParticipantGandalf,
Have you lost your mind? How on Earth could you think Obama is a better candidate then McCain? I mean seriously (g).

Participant
John, why do you assume “aliens” even use radio waves for communication? You are projecting human attributes, again being ego-centric about beliefs of alien beings secretly watching or in some kind of conspiracy with the US government. Are you also saying that all those cable channels are in cahoots with the government to slowly introduce E.T to us Americans? You better stay away from that black oil π
Listen, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is life somewhere in our universe. In all probability there is another planet out there that has the conditions to jumpstart and maintain life. However, when I hear people talk about aliens with humanlike attributes, all I can think of is projection and wishfull thinking that our alien mythology is in fact true.
I don’t assume they use radio. I doubt they do. But they must communicate. Even my two cats talk to each other (g).
Communication is not uniquely human. Dolphins have a very sophiscated language as do Whales.
Actually, honestly, I don’t see the big deal about ET’s. The Universe must be teeming with life or else we wouldn’t be here so I would expect other life forms to have visited.

Participant
nostradamus, I think that piggies have already decided that San Diego is the best, except for the price. That’s why everyone is waiting with bated breath for the price drops.
For me, when I retire, perhaps Cuba after we lift the trade embargo. I believe that Americans will go back to Cuba in droves in search of an exotic life full of sunshine.

If Castro had not taken power then I believe Cuba would have been our 51st state by now.
It would be a paradise if developed.
