I have added crown molding to my entire condo and it only cost me about $1200. That also included casing for 4 large windows.
I used this guy:He did a fantastic job. He works with his brother, is on time and did the whole place in 2 days.
He still has a 6″ crown molding special for $4 per foot (painted and installed). He doesn’t charge extra for corners.
I can send you some pictures of my place if you wish.frenchlambdaParticipantI have added crown molding to my entire condo and it only cost me about $1200. That also included casing for 4 large windows.

There is a rule about alcoholism and addiction in general called the 3 C’s rule:
– you didn’t cause your friend’s alcoholism
– you can’t control your friend’s alcoholism
– you can’t cure your friend’s alcoholismRecovery can only come from him. First he needs to acknowledge that he is an alcoholic, From there, the only cure is total abstinence. He must stay away from alcohol, period. I recommend that he finds a support group like AA and attend meetings at least 2 or 3 times a week. Eventually he will need to get himself a sponsor.
Treatment are lengthy and costly. If he or his family can afford it, he should go to the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA. It’s a 90-day inpatient treatment. Cost is around $50,000 (it’s a medical treatment so it’s tax-deductible) but that might save his life. Many times with alcohol things only get worse until the person hits rock bottom. It might be being arrested and spending time in jail, a DUI, losing a job, a spouse or ending up in a hospital after an accident caused by alcohol.
My suggestion to you Brian is to keep an eye on him, and get his friends and family involved. If you ever decide to have an intervention on him or just talk to him, it will be more efficient and powerful if you all come as one voice.

frenchlambdaParticipant

where should I look for the iPad 2 that will ship directly to me without sales taxes?
I’m sorry…for someone who is such a cheerleader for big government…I find the fact that you are so intent on evading sales taxes…well, ironic.
My first post here… and I am French (living in SD) so pardonnez-moi mon anglais…
Why does a simple question about the iPad need to become a political issue?
Brian is just trying to save his friend anywhere between $40 and $70 depending on what version she will end up purchasing. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion…Anyway I bought my iPad (first generation) at the UCSD bookstore about two weeks after it was officially released:
http://bookstore.ucsd.edu/computers/hardware/apple.htmThey were and still are selling $100 under the retail price. Even with the sales tax, it is still a sweet deal. I am not sure if you have to be a UCSD student to purchase electronics there. I am no longer a student and the guy at the store didn’t asked me any student ID.
You may also consider Wal-Mart though I doubt that the iPad 2 will be available right away.

Good luck!
