ParticipantSorry, but I prefer not to make assumptions and that doesn’t fully answer the questions that I posed. Where is the money coming from?????? Savings or sales of appreciated assets?
You have made an assumption.
You have assumed that it matters where the money came from.

ParticipantWhy do some people think they are attractive and others think they are ugly ?
If you say they are ugly, (even though it’s true) they would feel insulted because they have judged themselves to be attractive.
Why do some people think they are fat and others see them as thin ?
If you tell them they are too thin, they might feel insulted, because they really think they are fat.
Why do some people think they are clever and others think they are idiots ?
If you call them an idiot, even though it’s true, they would feel insulted.
People have varying judgments of what should be objective reality on many different levels, besides home pricing. It’s simply human nature.

ParticipantThe National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$1.71 billion per day since September 29, 2006That seems like a lot. If you divide it by the number of people in this country it amounts to $5.62 per day per person, or roughly 1.4 servings of Starbuck’s Grande Latte per day.

The author’s writing style (forget the content) is actually pretty good and he might sound like a grizzled old veteran to some folks so I thought it would be interesting to post his photo. My gosh, is he still in high school ?
