Former SD resident
ParticipantThanks.
Does anyone have any suggestions for cross-country movers? Both household belongs and vehicles. When we moved CC the company paid to relocate us but we don’t think this new company will so I’d like to start gathering estimates.

ParticipantThanks for all the comments we have a lot to consider. I never thought I’d have sticker shock after living in SD but guess I was wrong.
UCGal: I appreciate that the employer is concerned about their cost of labor, but we still have to consider the cost of living, if we can’t swing it with what they offer, then we won’t move. We are not in a position where we have to move, it’s actually pretty good living where we are at only problem is we under-estitmated the difficultly of living so far from family especially after starting our own.

ParticipantThanks UCGal. I believe the Coverdell is parent owned too, just that the limits are 2k vs. 13K for the 529. And I completely agree with you on the major, must be something that we deem as “employable”, they can double major if they like but 1 has to be business, engineering, etc.. at least if they want me to help pay for it.
