cashman, another thing if you sold for 2 mil, and had your money in a CD or a simple high interest bank account or money market, your interest paid for your rent. Around 5% on 2 mil is 100K in interest, even after taxes that would pay for your rent.

ezpassParticipantI am not certain if you read the entire article or understand how shorting works. Bull markets can continue for quite a while and simply because there is record short interest, it doesn’t mean the market is about to go down. In fact as the article states, the record shorting can infact fuel an even bigger bull market.
There is a quote that says something like:
“Stay with the trend, the trend is your friend”, at this point the trend is up and unless something turns it around, it will likely to stay up, until…When the until happens, try not to get run over, just like the shorts from the article, which will cause them to cover their short and in fact add to the buying volume.
Nothing goes up forever, but while it does, stay with it.

ezpassParticipant2002 740i is an older style BMW, the guy selling has the same problem many RE sellers have, he hasn’t realized the truth yet, the price for that year BMW is about 9K lower. In addition prior model 7-series does not keep its value that well.
