Hi Dataagent, the house is contingent. But there are still a few that bought over 1M and asking for 70-80k on MLS. Is this area more distressed than Stonebridge? If it does offer better schools, more infrastructure and cooler temperature, then LCV IS obviously a better choice compared to Stonebridge. Unless they are not aware, why so many are so obsessed with Stonebridge? It has been a hot topic on this forum for a while.

EchooooParticipantThanks, SDR. I know 4s Ranch, the lot is small. and as far as Carmel Valley, I thought properties are over my range, price wise. It should be over 80s. I have heard for new development in Carmel Valley, people are on the waiting list for 2 years from now. Not sure of La Costa Valley, which school district does it belong to? Any properties on the market now? Just want to have an idea what the neighborhood looks like.and forgot to mention my situation. I am Not a first-time buyer, so when you mention depreciation, I hope it is Not general, just for distressed home owners?

EchooooParticipantUCGal- adding more footage is not an option. Thanks!
My thinking is very simple. My house has depreciated about 10%, but the bigger houses in a nearby neighborhood have come down about 30%, so why not take the advantage and move up? The only thing not sure is if the price will come down more.EchooooParticipantUCGal- adding more footage is not an option. Thanks!
