    My advice, if you really want to sell the house, go with whoever higher, don’t be too greedy. I had it before and I did not accept the offer and there were lower offers afterward once you missed it. No one will pay higher in this market. It will continue to tank little by little and eventually you may not be able to see any 1.15M offer anymore. Good luck.

    If we wait longer for the housing market to tank further before we appeal, then would the new assessment be even lower than the purchase price you bought the house. We only have one chance to appeal is that right?
