ParticipantTo stop this mess, my idea is to change from non-recourse state back to recourse state (not sure about the term). Only when that happens, flippers and investors will not walk away that easily and they will hold on to their properties as long as they can. That will slow down the foreclosure rate.

ParticipantDemand destruction?! Will you explain and give more facts. Oil price came down from $150 to less than $90 in two months. Do we drive less? I don’t think so. I still see lots of cars on the freeway. It was a bubble.

ParticipantYou think cyberhome is better? In terms of accuracy, none of them are good because they only predict the values of the homes that may not reflect the real situations. Believe it or not, zillow estimates my home closer to the real value than cyberhome. The latter even inflated my home price.
