Participant
Thanks Dave!
We’ll see how much luggage we end up taking this time, as my wife didn’t want to drag it all through the tube again this trip. If we can minimize the # of suitcases, we may take your advice!
If luggage is an issue, I’d go the Leicester Square – Northern Line route. It’ll plop you down in Euston Station closest to the trains.
Any way you slice it you’re going to be dragging your luggage through Heathrow and Euston. So, adding Leicester Square to the mix shouldn’t be too much additional trouble. Just my opinion.
Have fun.

To each their own, however as for me and my family we will serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes, we are Catholic.

By the way, as I recently mentioned I was approved for a new mortgage – on top of the one I already have. The problem is, I want to move to San Elijo Hills. I don’t qualify for the property I would like to buy in SEH, primarily b/c I am not allowed to count what would be my rental income from my house in Temecula. There has to be a way to get this done, I need to qualify for about 100k more. Any ideas?
Prayer?
Given his benevolence and vast powers, this should be a pretty simple task for your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I’m just spitballin’.

Only those who are of this world, vain and selfish would even think to pray for something so petty.
Guilty!! Well, except for the praying part, that is.
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Can you give me an Amen!
This home in San Elijo Hills that you want… does that not fall under the “treasures on earth” that we’re not supposed to be laying up for?
I’ll file this under: “Rich in Irony”
I’ll pass on the Amen but offer up a “See you in Hell!!” [Unfortunately, I can’t properly convey a Satanic cackle in words.]
[By the way, if I were Satan, the first and most diabolical thing I would invent would be religions. Look at what they’ve wrought.]

ParticipantHop on the Picadilly Line at Heathrow and take it to the Green Park tube station (this will take about 40 minutes). If you have time to head over to Jermyn Street to buy a few shirts, by all means do so. If not, transfer to the Victoria Line at the Green Park station and go North. The third stop is Euston Station (less than 10 minutes from Green Park) where you can catch the train to Liverpool. The tube portion of the journey shouldn’t be more than about 5 GBP. Enjoy!
(Another option is to take the Picadilly Line to the Leicester Square tube station and change to the Northern Line, go North on the Northern Line and that will also get you to Euston Station. Six of one, half dozen of the other.)

Participant
I personally think Coverdell is the best…
I always thought David Coverdale sounded like a poor man’s Robert Plant, myself.
