If someone is menacing you with a knife it is too late… Your going to get stabbed…
Close the distance and hope you can get you lick in…
2 Years Judo
3 Years Taekwondo
1 Year WrestlingAnd many years of getting my ass kicked by the local gangs in HS…
I know how to take a beating while minimizing the damage…
Gun is better.

CDMA ENGParticipant
Always wanted to learn krav maga myself…I’ve seen a few videos in the past here and there and like how some concepts are very different that other martial arts (jui jitsu/grappling on the ground, etc…). The idea is in a street fight, you need to stay standing, never fall, and expect people to randomly drill you in the head when you aren’t looking.
If you google youtube videos of fights, a LOT are ended in 1 punch when someone wasn’t looking. It looks unfair almost, but that’s probably life/live/die situations.
Exactly… they say fear his buddy more than the guy attacking you which is correct.
Actually running away is the best thing you can do… Of course that is after you cheap shotted the guy…

Sig Sauer
Heckler Koch
and good ole american…
Smith and Wesson

I primarily like the first two. There is a good CC version of a Sig .357 auto. Fires a real funky looking cartridge, but don’t underestimate it. That Sig is often used by the Secret Service (P229) instead of the 9mm (Conceals better and is actually partially armor piercing). That said, can’t carry a gun everywhere these days. Krav maga is also very good for fitness/exercise — and a good way to vent frustrations (Guess that Japanese girl was frustrated, or did you just say something wrong to her scaredy?)
Have you shot the Sig .357 round? Its a cannon… Problem is I cant control it. At 75 feet I am all bull-eyes with my .40… I put that .357 barrel in it and just hitting the black is difficult… Its a mean round for sure but if you cant hit anything with it…
BTW I shoot the P226 with interchangeable barrels…

Either that or they will declare bankruptcy…

That would be the point.
Shes probably there all ready and what price do you have to pay as the litagit to push them there…
Doesn’t seem like a good ROI.

CDMA ENGParticipant

It’s speculation if a person is buying (or selling) an existing asset in the anticipation of selling (or buying) at a higher (or lower) price.
So the local grocery store is speculating with every can of beans on the shelf?
Yes.
Have you ever seen a can of beans on sale? Well then that means the grocer speculated on a higher price and couldn’t sell it.

CDMA ENGParticipantSo using the math created at this blog site…
If a picture is worth and thousand words…
And a word is worth a milli-picture…
Then…
For video… depending on how much talking is happening…
The law of diminishing returns quickly kicks in past the first words and the video is worth nothing!
Burn the tapes!

December 21, 2014 at 10:20 PM in reply to: Interesting commentary on the Vegas economy (paging FlyerInHI) #781246CDMA ENGParticipantArticle is not relevant at all.
Vegas is an outlier. The incrediable amounts of money you can earn doing service jobs coupled with the cheap housing makes a comfortable living enjoyed only there. I am sure there are other places but overall those same jobs people in most other places would struggle with.
Example. My father. A felon with a 9th grade education… Made casino executive there and a decent living… He admits there was no other place he could have gone and done the same.
I aslo had a friend who was one of the first ppl to graduate from UNLV law. She chose to remain a cocktail waiteress becasue she earns 100K a year in tips and there is no stress to her job past the end of her shift.
And I have many more antedotals as well.
So while I agree a degree is no guarntee of a decent life or paycheck I complete disagree with her article in using Las Vegas…
People throw money at you there…
Last example… me. When I worked the pools decks during the summer I made 125 to 200 dollars a day in tips, and we knew our management was stealing from us too because they were pooled, at 15, 16, and 17 years old… I would work 6 days a week… would have worked 7 if my mother had allowed..

CDMA ENGParticipantActaully that wasnt me UC…
I had to look it up tonight myself but tell me more about your italian teacher…
Are you taking a private lessons? How much is it helping you…
And tell me what you put in your Bagna Cauda…
Now you have me excited.
