The socal economy is trailing the norcal economy pretty bad…And employment is looking reallly good up there….I’ve been really tempted to move back…Reaaaaaally tempted….
When I was at google io in May, it’s it’s just different…Bunch of startups, bunch of energy and excitement….
San Diego….Dead…Just dead……Well, we got the nice weather i guess. I mean it’s not *bad* like in L.A. but not exactly incubator heaven here either….

I disagree. With rising health care costs and rising food prices, not having mortgage & car loan doesn’t equal to freedom.
