ParticipantWhat is patriotism? Excellent question.
Before you get trapped in definitions of patriotism, don’t forget that even George Washington was a traitor. He led the rebellion against his legal sovereign, the King of Great Britain. That’s the very definition of traitor.
In fact, every one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were traitors and would have been hanged as such if they were captured. Only by some miracle did the Americans actually win the war and therefore the former “traitors” became patriots since they got to rewrite the history books.
Do our current batch of leaders have even a fraction of this kind of self sacrificing fortitude? I don’t think so.
Something to think about.

Participant“Can the MSM, politicians, and Fed just be honest?”
—————————————————-No.
And why is that? Funding and Culpability.
If everyone involved begins telling the truth they (individuals, corporations, govt. agencies) will be at risk of lossing their funding because they failed in their fidutiary duties, and they are also at risk of legal ramifications for participating in fraud.

Participant“I’m sorry for the kids who will be forced to leave their homes, other than that, I’m not sorry at all.”
————————————————–Marion, don’t let anyone fool you with that line of “they’ll be homeless.” The parents will find tons of other places to rent that are just as good, and for half the cost.
In fact, this housing bust forcing people to rent again will end up saving their skins. They could never afford to pay 80% of gross to live above their means. The crazy lenders just loaned them so much money they “thought” they were rich. Going back to renting at a cost they can actually afford will relieve a lot of stress in their future.
