BugsParticipant
The property will sell if you price it agressively enough. Forget the $725k from 2005; your house probably isn’t worth that now and it probably won’t be worth that again any time soon. It could be 10 years before that $725k comes back, maybe even longer.
If you can handle paying the existing mortgage you might be able to “buy” your spouse off with other investments, pulling cash out of your retirement accounts, borrowing from a parent or the like.
Other than that you’ll probably be compelled sell.

Surely you know the answer to your question.
This is the New Millenium in America. In our society the victim gets to determine their own status as well as both the actions and the intent of their abuser, even when unspoken. It’s in the eye of the beholder, and the abuser has no say in it.

Obama turning out to be a lightweight. #226221BugsParticipantI think you guys are underestimating exactly how much the electorate likes lightweights. The young lightweight usually seems to win, so long as their hair looks good. The electorate likes it when a candidate exudes irrational optimism and expresses themself in vague generalities. The electorate does not like to get bogged down in detail or substantiative issues. They don’t want to hear about 10 years from now; they want to hear about today.
A candidate just about can’t overestimate the level of shortsightedness and stupidity of the electorate. That’s why we get the candidates we get.
Obama can lose, but I think he’ll have to go out of his way to do it. He’s got good hair.
