ParticipantMy HSA has been great for a few years now. Basically a high deductable PPO, even with kids. The monthly premium is much lower than my previous low ded. ppo, plus I get a big tax advantage because I’m paying with pre-tax money. It works out even if I use up all the contributions for the year vs. my previous ppo. But so far, I have always had money left over.

I went with a less expensive model, which was delivered and installed. A few weeks later I decided I liked the more expensive one, (about $350) better. They gave me full credit on the old one, and I only had to pay the new deliver charge. Thats more than I expected.
This was before best buy bought them, so I don’t know if its different now. But for those posting that they would buy from best buy first, you many not realize they have the same ownership.

ParticipantFind an excuse to work in your front yard or garage. I’m always amazed at how the neighbors take that opportunity to talk. The fact that everyone there purposely bought behind a gate is one strike against you.
The individual makes a big difference. We have lived in 3 places here in SD over 15 years. In each place we found the neighbors to be very nice once the ice is broken. In the current, and hopefully last, location we know everyone on the street, always wave and talk.
