ParticipantOnly a liberal could think this makes more sense than allowing the market to determine what wages make sense to businessmen and women.
I TOTALLY AGREE! Only liberals could BE SO STUPID.
Someday after I get my FEMA trailer trickled down on me and I win the lottery I will be rich too and then I can enjoy those tax cuts! I can’t wait!
blahblahblah
ParticipantHey Borat:
Do the Rich and Businesses Pay their Fair Share?
They pay more than their faire share! They shouldn’t be taxed at all so all of their wealth will trickle down onto us! Trickle down on me! I love being trickled down on! Some people say it tastes like urine but to me it tastes like freedom! Yummy yummy trickle down freedom. Tax cuts for the rich will save us all. The reason there is still inequality in the US is clearly because we haven’t cut taxes enough! Only a liberal dummy terrorist sympathizer would think otherwise! VOTE MCCAIN BOMB BOMB IRAN YAY USA GO GO GO GO USA USA USA!

ParticipantCNN have this article up today. If you look at the table on the right hand side, if they both get their way with taxes, McCain will help the middle class the most.
Income Avg. tax bill Avg. tax bill
Over $2.9M -$269,364 +$701,885
$603K and up -$45,361 +$115,974
$227K-$603K -$7,871 +$12
$161K-$227K -$4,380 -$2,789
$112K-$161K -$2,614 -$2,204
$66K-$112K -$1,009 -$1,290
$38K-$66K -$319 -$1,042
$19K-$38K -$113 -$892
Under $19K -$19 -$567
That is an interesting article, since it shows that under either plan, the vast majority of us will be paying lower taxes than we are now. But they certainly go down more under McCain. Check out the giveaway to the $2.9M+ crowd — a $270K/year reduction! Wowsers, if I was pulling down that kind of green I would definitely pull the lever for McCain. Since I’m not I guess I’ll vote for the other guy.
What’s really hilarious is that McCain is lowering taxes for everybody but yet he’s gonna keep us in Iraq for the next 100 years and he might even “bomb bomb Iran” if he feels frisky. I guess the Chinese and Saudis will just have to keep financing our deficits, since they’re gonna grow a whole hell of a lot bigger with tax cuts like those. You know he’s not gonna be able to do a damn thing about spending although he might be able to keep it in check with vetoes.
If Obama does get that tax plan through AND he cuts spending, we might be on the right track. Of course the cutting spending thing is probably asking too much for what is likely to a be an executive and legislature dominated by one party.
We’re all screwed.
