ParticipantWelcome to the club, I bought in Sept. 09. Would probably lose 5-10% if I had to sell today but I don’t need to.

ParticipantIt’s in a really good neighborhood, there is not a lot available there, and many dual-income professional types want to live in that area. $625K is a good deal for the square footage, location, and current market. I agree it is funny looking with the 3-car garage, but there are a lot of funny looking houses in SD. Doesn’t mean people won’t still pay to live in them if they check off all the important boxes, especially location. Yeah you can get cheaper $/sf in other areas, but IMO that is a prime location in South Carlsbad.

Hahaha me neither but they seem to like it! I just can’t get over the morality of the whole thing, they’re nice people but it makes me wonder…
