bababooeyParticipant
I usually burn my trash outside, to avoid all the soot mess.
From the looks of the picture, I think things will resolve themselves rather soon when the entire place burns down.
bababooeyParticipantHungry duck was nice, don’t think I want to live there.
OUT.

I assume I’m not the only one which has tried DirectTv NOW service for $35.
I’d say the pros are:
Cheaper then Sony Vue (I don’t consider Sling a contender)
Available on Apple Tv
For the price/channel, it is the cheapest out thereCons:
It’s new, some growing pains
No cloud DVR like Sony VueOctober 14, 2016 at 2:41 PM in reply to: Cutting The Cord– Considering Switching to Sling TV #802297bababooeyParticipantIf I had several homes and kids in collage I could afford to spend an extra $7.99 a month.

October 14, 2016 at 9:57 AM in reply to: Cutting The Cord– Considering Switching to Sling TV #802281bababooeyParticipantCheck out Sony Playstation VUE service (can be used on devices other then Playstation). I’ve had Sling and now use VUE, VUE service is much better.
Also, recently switched from Time Warner to Rectum (I know they are the same now, but they are not). Had to spend an hour on the phone fighting Time Warner to switch me to the Rectum $39/mo 100Mb/s plan from my old $59/mo 50Mb/s TW plan.
OUT.
bababooeyParticipantI had it for a week. I was able to sign up and install the app on my Roku stick.
What I liked:
It did work for the most part. I only have OTA stations and it was nice to supplement some stations with this service.
The video quality for a streaming service was adequate in my mind as well.Didn’t Like:
Although they say Roku is supported and you can install the app on probably just about any Roku, they finally came out and said they don’t support MY Roku after complaining about on demand not working.
Limited to only watching it on one TV (1 TV per account), I have several!
Overall the content offering vs. the price was not compelling enough for me to continue with the service.I’ve got HBO GO/NOW on PS4 which I’ve been watching way to much of. Also, Sony has the VUE service which when it comes to San Diego, will offer many more services then sling, albeit at a higher price point.
bababooeyParticipantParents neighbor was a commercial airline pilot. He tried to adjust the spring in his door one day. The spring blew up and sent shrapnel into his eye.
He can’t fly anymore.
I fix lots of things around the house myself, I don’t screw with garage doors.
September 5, 2014 at 12:56 PM in reply to: Realtor didn’t inform seller of back up offer — is this wrong? #777834bababooeyParticipant
If only they had waited a few more days they would have had an extra 135k in their pockets (minus realtor commissions)
How do you know their offer was 135K less then your offer? All you know is that it sold for 135K less then list price.
Perhaps it takes 135K to fix a foundation, remove the mold, etc.. It’s sure easy to sit back now and say you would have paid 135K more regardless of the issues.
bababooeyParticipantNoticed it as well. I was thinking since the end of the world is coming soon with the drought and all the city would stop building permits to conserve water.
I should conserve water while they add more people and buildings and keep Torry Pines green? I’ll get right on it.
April 25, 2014 at 9:55 AM in reply to: Never Ever Take a Car With Rims You Care About to Costco Tires #773330bababooeyParticipantThe tire center is one of the best places at Costco, no free food samples thus no family’s with grandparents and children abandoning there shopping cart in front of you to hoard as much soylent green as they can get.
April 25, 2014 at 8:08 AM in reply to: Never Ever Take a Car With Rims You Care About to Costco Tires #773325bababooeyParticipant
But looks like I won’t be going back there for tires again, either for my X5 or the 550, and they don’t stock the tires I like the miata or the A4 the C320 for which I don’t care about the rims….
A bit of advice. It’s hard trying to be pretentious but one of the rules (in the top 15) of the pretentious handbook is to never admit you shop at Costco, you are just too good for that!
Remember what the coach told you to repeat when you are in these serious situations like this “people like me”.
bababooeyParticipant
My wife has a great saying, “Don’t engage the crazy”. I simply remind you to not become the crazy people avoid engaging with.
Not sure which side of the property line the crazy’s are located in this situation.
