ParticipantSDR: While I wouldn’t agree with any of your thorough and factually correct commentary, I would offer a few points of my own. First, never underestimate the power of Big Mo and emotion heading into the playoffs, especially with the outcome of the first Chargers – Broncos game in Denver still fresh in their minds, and, second, don’t forget how truly woeful the Broncos are looking right now. That game against the Bills was ghastly. They blew a 13 point lead against a less than stellar opponent and with a win ensuring both the division and the playoffs.
You can stack up all the statistics and compare this year’s Bolts with last year’s Bolts, but nothing will matter as much as emotion, attitude and desire. This Chargers team took it to the Bucs and at home no less, where the Bucs were 8 – 0 prior to the loss.
Keep the faith, man, it’s what keeps me going as a Raiders fan!

ParticipantTG/SDR: Just so you know, I’ll be wearing my silver and black, but supporting the Chargers all the way. I hope your boys nuke Cutler, Shanahan and the rest of that nasty little band.
While I definitly think Turner should go, I’m also rooting for the Chargers, and I admire the grit they’ve shown to get it to this point. I’m also laughing at the Broncos, and all of the blown chances they’ve had over the last three weeks.
If the Chargers win and get into the playoffs, they’ll be one of the more dangerous teams, and simply because they’re playing loose and have nothing to lose.

ParticipantScaredy: Oy vey (for the anti-Semites among us). Clinton did NOT lie about fellatio. Clinton lied about suborning perjury. HUGE difference. It makes me realize what an excellent job the Clintonistas did spinning it that way.
Clinton was deeply embroiled in the Iraq fiasco as well, he simply had the good sense not to invade. Unfortunately for him, however, he has the Iraqi Liberation Act of 1998 and all the various pronouncements of his Administration regarding WMD and the need for “regime change” as his legacy, along with those murderous sanctions and the two year long bombing campaign at the end of his presidency.
Speaking of war crimes: Which President started the policy of extraordinary rendition? Hint: It wasn’t Bush.
And as far as our precious civil liberties go: Check out Clinton’s support of the NSA Echelon and Carnivore programs.
There aren’t political parties anymore, there’s just the maintenance of power and the status quo ante. You think there’s a difference between Clinton and Bush in terms of the “dick” quotient? Forget the front side, and look at the back: They’re all the same asshole, just wearing different colors.
