ParticipantBTW- I am not against shelter in place. It worked well for those in the Barona casino during the height of the Cedar fire. However, it did not work well for everyone:

ParticipantI think this is one of those posts that will be saved for a good laugh later because if you believe the bears on Pigg. (and I do), the prices will continue to decline, especially when the economy continues to decline. What is the definition of insanity again?

According to some of the law enforcement personnel who worked during this last group of fires, some of the winds were in excess of 75 MPH. The fire can also create its own wind storm. The U.S. firebombed German cities during WWII. The destruction was massive. It is a pipe dream to believe that 4S will survive such a firestorm, with or without fire sprinklers, a tile or cement roof and boxed in eaves. Maybe that makes you sleep better at night, but I would not stake my life or the lives of my family members on it.
