ParticipantFLU-Go get an X-ray to rule out some kind of damage, then look over the previous posts. I had an “lifting” injury sustained in the 80’s that got worse with age. However, I am taking supplements. In addition to the normal vitamins and minerals, I am taking Collagen+C for ligaments, tendons, muscle and bones and SAM-e for joint mobility. So far, so good. I also agree with Nostra’s suggestions on strength training and stretching exercises to keep your back flexible. I think the biggest problem is sitting at a computer for hours without getting up periodically to stretch. I would say you would start getting the problems in your 40’s if you do not correct them earlier.
