ParticipantCostco and Sam’s Club both have great deals as did some of the other larger electronic stores. I think you will be able to get great deals for the next couple of months. We bought our tv on Tweeter before they went out of business last year.

ParticipantWith the money you save by watching movies at home instead of going to the movies, the TV will pay for itself. I would not get a plasma because they have some issues, but a nice large top of the line with all the bells and whistles would be a nice Christmas present and one that all the family can enjoy. If you are concerned about how long it will last, then get an extended warranty with it. What is the big deal? If someone can afford a purchase like this, I recommend buying it now and enjoying it. TG bought a house and is enjoying living in it. Always postponing living is not the way to go through life. You cannot time everything. What a bunch of grinches!

ParticipantI question the absolute accuracy of the maps since they have included a golf course in the red zone, as well as a cemetery. I doubt either will burn even in a fire storm, but I guess anything is possible.
