I know this property on Joy Court has been profiled here a few times and it just closed escrow. It is one of the hideous overbuilt McMansions in San Marcos overlooking a swamp and the back of an industrial park. I cant believe they ever sold them, let alone sold this one for $1.185M! of course it was finaced 100%.
It just closed for $710,000. Thats a 40% loss plus carrying costs, foreclosure costs, defaulted payments, sales commissions etc. I’d bet that after all was saiodthey got back less than 50 cents on the $.
