I did not wish to offend and appologize if I did. I just take everything on an internet blog that resembles “a friend of my friends neices boyfriend’s sister said” with a huge grain of salt. As I said people dont usually tell just anyone about themselves like that.
Having that added piece of information of home health nurse, a trusted and respected individual who is turned to in times of crisis or pain for both council and assistance, I definiatly understand and add much more crediance to your post in my head. This is someone who will get this information. I thank you for sharing it.

July 17, 2008 at 5:40 PM #241367peterbParticipantDrastic situations call for drastic measures. In times like these I would tend to trust anecdotal information and what I am seeing for myself as more indicative of reality than numbers comming from institutions. For example, inflation from the govt is way too low as is unemployment figures. NAR is always spinning the numbers to make things look better. When many people start telling me that they’re seeing empty houses sit for months or that they know people that have not paid mortgages for months, etc…. I tend to think there’s more “truth” on the street than in published “data” from insitutions.

I guy I know bought a very nice house in Las Vegas 2 years ago with 0 down/$4200 total monthly payment. Against my advice of course: he gave me all the usual crap that he needs the house and doesn’t care if it goes up or down, etc.
A year ago he stopped the payments and just kept living there until this June when the house was finally foreclosed upon. So now this guy brags that he effectively lived in a nice house for 2 years for $2100 a month – no way he could rent such a house for that low a payment – and thus his decision to buy 2 years ago was right
