I am thankful that I live in a country where I am allowed to express my opinions and criticize people, organizazions, companies or government agencies, regardless if my opinion is wrong. Where I fell safe in my home and can generally look back and see that I was blessed to have been born in this country and even better, in this part of this country. Visit another country with your child, or even another state and listen to their reaction, it is an education to see their analysis when they realize that traffic, weight loss or breast size that we obsess over (myself included), are so trivial as compared to the worries of the rest of the planet’s population. I have so many people to thank in the past and the present that I won’t even try but I always stop what I’m doing when I meet a war veteran to thank them, especially WWII veterans because the opportunities to thank them are diminishing with each passing day.
And thank the rest of you out there, even those I may argue with, it’s my world and since you are living in it, having a discussion or a debate furthers my own knowledge base. You all have some piece of information that I need for my journey, thanks for posting it for free.
doublewide, it wasn’t me who mentioned the e-bay tactics but I will concur that some sellers try to sniff out your maximum bid with alternative profiles amnongst other tactics. Just send them an e-mail back offering your original bid, not your maximum and see what they do. Currently I’m in a two person bidding war for a Burberry trench coat and I am sure that the other person is the seller. They don’t realize that I’m an important person on their journey and I am about to begin the lesson.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

to be brief, I am grateful to Rich and the people on this site who brought the real truth of the housing “bubble” to light and to the friends and family I have who will not eat turkey on Thanksgiving.November 22, 2007 at 10:46 AM #102927eccen in escParticipanteccen in esc

Having lost quite a bit in the dot bomb implosion (in spite of my conservative style – I was a knife catcher as a “value investor”), I am very thankful for this alternate medium. I discovered Piggington after I decided to sell, but it has convinced me very well on why not to buy. So I am thankful to the Internet for my financial solvency.
