TG: Dude. Why you gotta be this way? Didn’t I congratulate you on your new digs? Haven’t I always supported your illicit ways and even offered constructive support on where to do the best cougar hunting? And this is what I get in return?
Now I have the new nightmare of Al Davis going all George Burns on me? Gee, thanks.
I’m hoping Jim Fassel follows up with his desire to coach the Raiders and Davis hires him. Better choice than Cable and the Raiders (speaking of heart) have been playing with some definite energy as of late. Players like Higgins are difference makers and even Jamarcus has been showing some flashes as of late. Sigh. Hope springs eternal.
I’ll stick by what I said about the Chargers: It’s all about heart and, as of late, they’re playing with a lot of it. Having played and coached a lot of football myself, I’ll tell the most dangerous team on the field isn’t the more talented team, it’s the team that wants it more.

I was wrong, she lived to 103. I was starting to get on their bandwagon and then he fired Kiffin, if history prevails, Kiffin will now go on to win a ring with another team. I think the niners found their savior in Singletary, I just think that if Al finds the right coach, he will fire him. There is one silver lining, the fact that no west coast NFL team has a winning record has turned me into a huge NBA fan. The influx of all the euro and asian players has changed the style and made the game more exciting (only about half the lakers grew up in the USA). Beating the celtics on Christmas was awesome.
