When I saw a list of “signs of fascism” and saw something about “religion and government intertwined” and I thought, “well, at least trump isn’t going down that road.” It was the only item of 14 on the list that didn’t seem right up trump’s alley.
I should’ve known better. This is how it starts:

Fascism is on its way, whether you like it or not.
Normally, I wouldn’t say, “vote democrat” or “vote republican.” I like to take each issue on its own merits, and each politician on his own merits. But, if the republicans are going to swallow whatever trump shoves down their throats (and so far, with the exception of 2 senators on the DeVos nomination, they appear to be doing just that), it seems to me that, if you don’t want fascism, you need to vote democrat in 2018.
If you want fascism to continue, be sure to vote republican in 2018.
February 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM #805307AnonymousGuestTrump renews promise to roll back law limiting political activity by churches
As wrong as this is in principle, it won’t change much in practice. Do you really think people who are influenced by their church are going to be more influenced because the pastor can be more direct in their political bias? The churchgoers have already made up their minds.
Of course Trump supporters aren’t dismayed at this point. They choose him because they are enamored by his theatrics and all he has done so far is carry on the theater. The real test will be his response to a real crisis or undeniable data. If the market tanks, we suffer a military loss, employment takes a turn for the worse, healthcare becomes less available … stuff that really affects lives, then the show won’t be so entertaining.
I’m not concerned about bad things happening – I’m concerned about how Trump reacts when they do. How will he react in order to save face, and will it start to spiral? …
February 2, 2017 at 2:24 PM #805311FlyerInHiGuestZK, here’s an interesting listen on Bannon from an “elitist” source.

February 6, 2017 at 12:27 AM #805375FlyerInHiGuest“Well, you think our country is so innocent?” Trump repeated this twice.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2017/02/04/oreilly-told-trump-that-putin-is-a-killer-trumps-reply-you-think-our-countrys-so-innocent/?utm_term=.68857de4513dI agree with Trump and we should make amends for our past mistakes.. But I disagree with regard to Russia and Putin.
Fighting is escalating in Ukraine and Trump has been silent. Something really odd is going on with Trump’s deference to Putin.
February 6, 2017 at 1:38 PM #805391zkParticipantWell, it just keeps getting worse. This is, without question, the scariest thing I’ve ever read in my life:
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/feb/04/white-house-agenda-collapse-global-order-war
Steve Bannon is a madman.
“Lenin wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down.”
– Steve Bannon
Here’s another article:
http://www.seattletimes.com/opinion/stephen-bannons-worldview-is-deeply-troubling/
I wasn’t even looking and I found these two articles right next to each other. I’m sure a brief bit of research would turn up much more terrifying info about this lunatic.
I’m curious what you trump voters think of this. Oh, that’s right. Nobody voted for trump.
February 6, 2017 at 2:12 PM #805392zkParticipantAnd here’s the other problem:
From the second article above:
“I hope responsible GOP legislators and cabinet members will digest and counter [Steve Bannon’s views]. Otherwise, we should all be very afraid.”
“Responsible GOP legislators” is an oxymoron any more. They’re in lock step with trump, and therefore with Bannon. A man whose stated goal is to bring everything crashing down. Pathetic, cowardly losers.
February 6, 2017 at 5:44 PM #805396zkParticipantFebruary 6, 2017 at 5:50 PM #805397zkParticipantAnd it turns out Conway lied about lying. What a surprise.
February 7, 2017 at 9:19 AM #805403zkParticipantAnd another winner looks to join the trump administration. Let’s take the FDA and stop it from protecting consumers. Jesus.
February 7, 2017 at 10:48 AM #805409FlyerInHiGuestAnd the Trumpkins are all fine with all of that. What does it tell you about them?
February 9, 2017 at 10:28 AM #805456FlyerInHiGuestHere’s another one, ZK.
The Trump people are so incredibly ignorant. And they don’t care.Oh,Atlanta is close enough to Orlando.
Or Koreans or Chinese…. oh they’re the same.
Or Iraqii, Turks and Iranians…. they’re all arabs… except they’re not.
February 14, 2017 at 9:26 AM #805560zkParticipantWTF is with this steven miller dude? Listen to him. He’s like a 14-year-old trying to be tough (particularly at 6:21 in the video). Who responds positively to that? Even most trump voters aren’t emotionally stunted enough to respond to that. Are they?
Might as well get a few laughs while you’re listening to him:

I watch the Sunday shows. This Stephen Miller dude is the most entertaining and scary member of the admin. I think he’s only 32. His bio is interesting having grown up in Santa Monica. I think he’s mentally unstable. I wouldn’t be surprised at some ignoble ending some years down the road.
Edit: Thinking about this a little more, this dude shows the typical signs of radicalization.
