Well, the toyota’s pre 2000 were pretty reliable..Post 2000 well, not soo… Welcome to globalization and trying to be the biggest at the expense of quality.

Not only that, read comment #13…a guy said they wanted $9K to replace the engine in his Matrix when it blew at 97K miles!
