I wonder where we could find fatality record per 100 million miles driven for each vehicle. I remember seeing this type of data online a few years ago and now I couldn’t find it again. I think it would be a much fairer comparison on car safety instead of just personal opinions.
I don’t think that would prove anything except that Toyota drivers are timid.
I curse every time I get behind a white Camry because I know that person is going to drive under the speed limit and be afraid of every movement of every vehicle around them. Other color Camrys and most Corolla drivers are almost as bad, but white Camrys are the absolute worst.
On the other hand, 10 yrs ago most 4×4 Toyota Tacoma drivers were the most aggressive on the road…that seems to have subsided. My theory is that they have all traded up to 4×4 Nissan Titans because they are the most aggressive thing on the road right now.
(another observation: most pickups with camper shells – no matter the brand – are driven by timid grandpas)

Well, it should be pretty obvious..
Bad suspension, bad road feel, bad cornering ability, bad turn radius, feels like a boat, and bad throttle response (when you want it to accelerate)…I wouldn’ want to drive fast in one of them either….Almost as bad as driving a …. Buick and I was about to say Caddy (except, i’m sure you’ll bring up the CTS-V).
But to wit, the respectable Toyota ever made with the Supra. My friend had one tuned to 474hp after throwing the HKS parts catalog at it…that was back in 1995.
But I think by far the worst drivers are some folks in Ford F-150’s…They think they own the road, tailgate you thinking they’re in a sports car or something, and some actually try to keep up with a sedan on the transition on ramp from 56E to 15N.

I don’t know, svelte. I’ve bought four Toyotas in the last seven years. Hasn’t done a thing to calm me down. Camrys, minivans, even a Prius finally – doesn’t matter. They could all be ’68 Plymouth Road Runners as far as I’m concerned. I think I was inspired by the Beach Boys’ “Little Old Lady From Pasadena” as a kid.

However, I do think there’s something to your white Camry theory. I’d go so far as to say any driver of a white sedan, at least here in the east. Really strange phenomenon.
