ParticipantIt’s getting pretty hard to avoid being a recipient of welfare in some form, in all walks of life.In my house we get deductions for kids and for a mortgage. Of course some fight harder to get it, sometimes lots of it, and deny what it is. I can’t say I feel safe generalizing who the biggest welfare queens are by party affiliation. It seems pretty evenly spread.

GuestYou’re correct Russell.
At least the Democrats don’t claim that welfare is bad. There are times when welfare is good and appropriate.
Republicans claim that welfare is bad, but they receive it themselves. Plus they want to provide security welfare to “’em socialist European furiners” at our own expense, despite the Europeans’ misgivings.
