ParticipantEARTH TO SCAREDY . . . HELLO-O-O-O out there . . .
I just noticed the second and third listings I gave you yesterday were in the “Hidden Meadows” area. I had a good friend who lived there for 20 years and raised kids there.
In the late eighties, there were some flooding issues on the south side of Mtn. Meadows Road and it was sandbagged for a long while but I do believe the county has shored it up. I haven’t been down that road since about ’97 or ’98.
Scaredy, this area is AWESOME and very quiet and private. As I recall, if you drive another 8 miles or so east, you will end up in Valley Center, passing through multiple avocado groves. It’s also one or two exits from the TOP of the county.
You might want to ask an agent Pigg who works in this area but I would highly recommend this area for a better investment over RIV County tracts you have been looking in (standing in line with that “captive audience” up there).
You might experience much less frustration, too, dealing directly with a motivated owner. Give it some thought, will ya?
